Why Buy Handmade Bath & Body Products?
If you have never used handmade soap and bath products before, you may be
asking yourself, "Why buy handmade products?" There are many answers
to that question, but the most important one to us here at Bath Bomb Shells
concerns quality.
Commercially mass-produced “soaps” & bath products usually
contain synthetic ingredients such as detergents
& chemicals,
irritants
such as harsh preservatives, and
petroleum by-products.
These products are harsh and hard on the skin. Handmade soap and bath products,
on the other hand, are entirely different. Once you try them you will appreciate
how luxurious the product feels and how nice you feel and smell after using
it. High quality handmade soap doesn't dry out your skin the way commercially
produced soap does - you'll be amazed at how much softer your skin feels.
This is especially important for people with dry, sensitive skin.
With Bath Bomb Shells handmade soap & bath products you get:
- Highest
quality ingredients available
- Great,
unusual scents – only fine fragrance oils or essential oils are
used
- More
natural, plant-based products (no animal testing!)
- Loaded with glycerin,
which attracts and holds moisture to the skin
- Gentle
preservatives (used only when necessary)
- Each
item unique and hand-crafted
- Mineral
mica for coloring instead of abrasive artificial colorants
- Better
for the environment - no phosphates, detergents or petroleum by-products
- All
products are made by hand in small batches to insure that you get the
very best and freshest product possible
The
only problem with using handmade soap and bath products is that they are
addictive and it is difficult to go back to using “normal”
commercial products afterwards. We aim to spoil you from ever using them
again!
What is the “Glycerin” on the bar soap ingredients list made
from?
Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Castor Oil, Safflower Oil, Purified Water, Sodium
Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer from berries), Sorbitan
oleate (emulsifier), Soybean protein (conditioner), and in our opaque
soaps only, Titanium Dioxide (mineral whitener).
How do I care for my handmade soap bars?
Be
sure to use a soap dish that allows for good drainage.
Also, never leave soap
left in the path of the shower stream, or sitting in a wet soap dish.
